Ready Lease, LLC ("ReadyLease," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through www.readylease.com and related services (the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the rights available to you, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact information (name, email address, phone number, mailing address)
  • Account credentials (username, password)
  • Application, screening, and tenancy-related information (e.g., rental history, employment/income information, identity verification documents) when you use our matchmaking or administrative services
  • Payment information (processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers)
  • Communications you send us (support requests, forms, survey responses)
  • Information you provide when signing up to receive SMS/text messages from us, including your mobile phone number and consent preferences

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information (browser type, operating system, device identifiers)
  • IP address and approximate geolocation
  • Usage and behavioral data (pages viewed, links clicked, time on site, referring/exit pages, interactions with forms and features)
  • Information collected via cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 3)

C. Information From Third Parties

  • Identity verification, background screening, and credit-related information from screening vendors
  • Information from property owners, landlords, or partners in connection with the matchmaking service
  • Analytics and advertising identifiers from our service providers

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Match tenants with properties and facilitate related administrative services (applications, screening, payments)
  • Communicate with you, including account notifications, service updates, and customer support
  • Send you SMS/text messages you have opted in to receive (see our SMS Terms & Conditions)
  • Analyze and measure how users interact with our website and Service, including through behavioral tracking and analytics software
  • Personalize content and improve user experience
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
  • Market our services, where permitted and consistent with your preferences

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing behavior and interactions with the Service. These technologies are used to:

  • Remember your preferences and login state

4. SMS / Text Messaging Program

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from ReadyLease, we will use that information to send you the types of messages described in our SMS Terms & Conditions.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your mobile opt-in information and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes. We may share this information only with service providers who help us deliver the SMS program (e.g., our SMS/text messaging platform provider), and only as necessary to operate the program, or as required by law.

5. How We Share Personal Information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers and vendors who perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, identity/background screening, customer support, and SMS/text delivery
  • Property owners, landlords, or property management partners, as necessary to facilitate the tenant-matching and administrative services
  • Professional advisors, such as legal and financial consultants
  • Government authorities or other third parties, when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others
  • A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets

Depending on your browser and device settings, certain analytics and advertising cookies may constitute a "share" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA, as described below. We do not share, sell, or disclose SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers collected for SMS purposes to any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes, regardless of any other sharing practices described in this policy.

6. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To the extent our use of cookies, analytics, or similar technologies constitutes a "sale" or "share" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to opt out. You can exercise this right by:

  • Using the cookie preference tool or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our website (if enabled), or
  • Sending an opt-out request to support@readylease.com, or
  • Setting an opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), in your browser, which we will honor as required by law

7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information, subject to certain exceptions:

  • Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold/shared about you, and the sources, purposes, and categories of third parties involved.
  • Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Opt Out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (see Section 6).
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — where applicable, request that we limit the use of sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, government ID numbers) to what is necessary to provide the Service.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
  • Right to Designate an Authorized Agent to make requests on your behalf.

How to Submit a Request: Email support@readylease.com or call (713) 510-9466. We will verify your identity before processing your request, generally by matching the information you provide against records we already maintain. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Categories of Personal Information Collected, Sold, or Shared in the Preceding 12 Months: Identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (transaction/application history), internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing and usage data), geolocation data (approximate), and audio/visual information (if you contact support by phone or submit documents). We may have "shared" identifiers and internet activity information with analytics/advertising service providers via cookies, as described in Section 3.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
